I am a Master of Fine Arts graduate from Arizona State University with a degree in Dramatic Writing and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Intermedia specializing in Video Production and Computer Animation.

I believe that students learn best through hands-on experience. In my different positions as teacher, technical director, yearbook advisory, producer, I aim to teach students how to produce the work themselves and how to learn from their mistakes to keep improving their work wether that be a 5 minute film, a yearbook layout or light design for a school production. 

Currently I am a DP and Middle School Film teacher at United World College South East Asia, Singapore. Previously I founded the DP Film program at Branksome Hall Asia, a girls’ boarding school on Jeju Island, South Korea. 

Previously I have worked as Artistic Assistant at Cornerstone Theater Company, Photo Editor for Getty Images, Managing Director of Teatro Bravo and Resident Artist with Rising Youth Theatre and a National Association of Latino Independent Producers (NALIP) Writing Lab Fellow with my screenplay Smugglers.

I hold a Teaching License from the State of Hawai’i. License Number: 52432, Valid: 05/01/2020 - 06/30/2025 with three teaching field certifications: 

• Art 6-12

• CTE - Arts and Communication 6-12

• Drama/Theater Arts 6-12
